Misdiagnosis
Misdiagnosis is the single biggest issue to face the damp proofing industry. The drive for profit is encouraging damp treatment companies to overlook the real cause of dampness, often condensation, in favour of the more lucrative damp proofing treatment.
The problem is damp will continue and in many cases causes rot.
